The yearly Magnolia READS (Reading Empowers All District Students) financial literacy event kicked off today for the students and staff members at East Side and Central Elementary Schools. This year’s book choice is The Lemonade War by Jacqueline Davies.

Walker Pre-Kindergarten Center Enrollment Clinic 2023
When: Tuesday, April 4, 2023, or Thursday, April 6, 2023
Where: Walker Pre-K Auditorium *Limited seating available in each clinic.
Who: Parents/Guardians of three and four-year-old children *Must be three or four years of age on or before August 1, 2023
Time: 9:30 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. *Estimated length of clinic is 30-40 minutes. Applications will be available at each clinic. Applications will be available at the District Administration Building located at 1403 High School Drive beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, April 10, 2023. Parents of students who are already enrolled and are returning next year do not have to attend this event unless you are enrolling another child. This year the February parent-teacher conferences on the MMS and MHS campuses fall on Valentines Day. To avoid any conflict of planned activities, the conferences for those two campuses have been moved to Thursday, February 16.
