A huge shoutout to Tatum Carter, Savannah Allhands, and Charlie-Kate Franks for their outstanding performance at the Girl Power Takes State competition!
These talented students took home 2nd place in their division and earned an SAU Tech Scholarship for their incredible craftsmanship and project planning. Their work, using cutting-edge tools like metal, wood, laser engraving, and more, truly impressed the judges.
Not only did they show off their skills in the ag mechanics shop, but they also had the opportunity to meet with industry leaders, including Lockheed Martin, to explore career opportunities in the field. Keep up the great work, ladies! Your dedication and hard work are paving the way for amazing futures.

Thank you Peoples Bank for providing doughnuts for our December/January student birthday celebration!

Our Sports Medicine Pathway students took their learning to the next level at the Arkansas Athletic Trainers Association High School Sports Medicine Conference! This hands-on experience was a perfect extension of the concepts they’re learning in the classroom. They heard from expert guest speakers and participated in labs like injury simulators, cadaver surgeries and dissections, anatomage injury simulations, and even a virtual reality experience! A fantastic opportunity to connect classroom knowledge with real-world application.

To celebrate Lunar New Year, students in Ms. Harris' World History classes discussed the influence of Imperial China on the development of East Asian cultures, the international traditions of the holiday, and competed to make the longest paper chain snakes!

Our marketing and photography students had an incredible opportunity to be part of the Southern Aluminum Sales Summit. They spent the day interacting with the sales and marketing teams, gaining valuable insights into the industry.
Students took behind-the-scenes photos capturing the energy and excitement of the conference, providing them with real-world experience in both marketing and photography.
This experience is just one of many ways we’re bringing classroom lessons to life! A special thank you to Andrew Hinkle for inviting our students to be involved.
